Janella Guillermo, PE, Senior Structural Project Manager at TPD, was named the Outstanding Professional Engineer in 2024 by the New Jersey Society of Professional Engineers (NJSPE)! She was recognized among the other award winners at NJSPE’s annual Installation & Awards Reception at the Mercer Oaks Country Club on June 27th.
Janella has over 19 years of experience in the field of transportation engineering. She is an experienced structural engineer and project manager who works to successfully deliver bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects to clients in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including for Monmouth County, NJ; Mercer County, NJ; Passaic County, NJ; Sussex County, NJ; Ocean County, NJ; the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT); the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC); and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). Janella possesses outstanding mentoring and teaching skills, currently managing a group of seven (7) younger engineers. In this role, she devotes her time and efforts to ensure their professional skills and competences grow to advance their careers.
