TPD received three awards from Graphic Design USA (GDUSA)’s Design Annual Showcase for their design work on three separate multimodal planning projects in North and South Carolina. These designs were created and executed by TPD’s Creative Design Manager, Danielle Kauffman. Two of the three projects won in the “Designing for Good” category and one plan logo won in the “Branding + Identity + Logos” category.

These projects include:

Connect Conover Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan
Saluda Grade Trail Feasibility Study
Woodfin Together Logo for Comprehensive Plan

GDUSA is an organization that has been a source of news and information for graphic designers and the broader creative community since 1963. The “Designing for Good” category encompasses graphic communications that advance positive social and environmental action and social justice impact; promote diversity, equity and inclusion; and aim to make communities and the world a better place for people and nature. You can see TPD’s full submissions here.

TPD congratulates Danielle for the well-deserved recognition of her creativity and design skills that elevate and illustrate the important message of these multimodal projects and plans. All three projects develop a network for people walking and biking in each community that is rooted in community input, equity, and safety.
