Our HQ in Pottstown, PA was buzzing with excitement on Friday, April 11th, as we welcomed 20 eager young minds for our annual Take a Child to Work Day event! From the very first icebreaker, an engaging round of “One Truth and One Lie”, it was clear that curiosity and energy would be the themes of the day. The kids embarked on a hands-on journey through civil engineering, diving into the fascinating world of structural services. They didn’t just learn – they built! Small teams worked together to construct impressive K’nex bridges, testing their creativity and problem-solving skills in real time. But the fun didn’t stop there! Our in-house safety and drone experts wowed them with thrilling demonstrations before our safety scavenger hunt and an inventive straw airplane building challenge.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the dedication of our incredible planning team and staff. Their passion for engineering, and for making it FUN, shone through in every activity. A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this experience to life. By the end of the day, one thing was crystal clear: Engineering isn’t just cool—it’s an adventure! And, perhaps most importantly… their parents’ jobs aren’t so lame after all. 😆
