As the Prime Consultant on this agreement, TPD is responsible for the Construction Management and Inspection of highway improvement work along Ocean Heights Avenue (County Route 559 Alternate) beginning west of English Avenue (CR 575) and ending east of Somers Point – Mays Landing Road (CR559) in the municipalities of Egg Harbor Township and Hamilton Township, Atlantic County, NJ. This is a Federal-aid funded project that included milling and resurfacing; reprofiling; ADA compliant walks and ramps, concrete sidewalk, concrete vertical curb, HMA driveways, concrete driveways, rip rap stone slope protection, pavement repair/installation; drainage upgrades or replacement; signage; soil and erosion, excavation, intersection improvements and various highway improvements.
TPD’s responsibilities include:
- Construction Management
- Construction Inspection
- Source Documentation
- Complete all County/Federal/State Forms as Required
- Advising and consulting with the County during all Phases of construction
- Daily Communication with the Contractor/Inspection Staff
- Attending all Project meetings
- Ensure full and timely Reimbursement of funds to the County
Our ultimate goal is to provide the County with assurance that the project is being constructed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and best interests of the County.
