TPD is providing CM/CI services for the construction of a pedestrian path and painted galvanized steel pedestrian bridge along the northern side of CR 12A, Navesink River Road, as well as roadway widening and profile, improvements via the installation of a sheet pile wall with concrete cap along the southern side of the roadway just north of Browns Dock Road.
Project work includes stone masonry rehabilitation, construction of a prefabricated painted galvanized steel pedestrian bridge founded on reinforced concrete bridge footings/abutments, and installation of steel sheet piling with a concrete cap on pedestrian bridge approaches to support the installation of a crushed stone pedestrian path.
A 4-line timber fence railing will be installed along the path between the edge of concrete sheet pile cap and the edge of the path. The existing guide rail will be removed, and the roadway widened, including full depth pavement reconstruction, milling, clearing, grading, stabilization, new guide rail, end treatments, new concrete curb, concrete moment slab, roadway drainage structures, reinforced concrete pipe, topsoiling, fertilizing, seeding, mulching, roadway striping, and other incidental work.
