On Sunday, November 16, members of TPD Spectrum, one of TPD’s employee resource groups, partnered with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation’s Love Your Park Week to help enhance a beloved community green space in the city.
Six TPD Spectrum volunteers spent the day at Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown, rolling up their sleeves to support park beautification efforts. The team weeded the garden bed surrounding the William Penn Statue and planted 200 flower bulbs, which will bloom throughout the spring and summer, adding color and beauty for park visitors to enjoy.

The volunteer event provided an opportunity for team members to give back to the community while working together toward a common goal. Their efforts will help create a more welcoming and vibrant environment for residents and visitors alike in one of Philadelphia’s historic waterfront parks.
Community engagement and service are important parts of TPD’s culture, and events like this reflect the commitment of our employee resource groups to making a positive impact beyond the workplace.
Thank you to the members of TPD Spectrum who dedicated their time and energy to support Love Your Park Week and help keep Penn Treaty Park thriving. We look forward to seeing the results of their hard work bloom in the seasons ahead!
