TPD is proud to support the Army War College Foundation’s Alumni Hall and Park Project at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. This transformative initiative will create a permanent destination honoring Army War College graduates, faculty, families, and supporters while providing a venue for reunions, promotions, retirements, and other special events. Once constructed, the project as a whole, will be gifted from the Foundation to the U.S. Government.

Located adjacent to Root Hall, the project includes construction of a new Alumni Hall and the development of a landscaped Alumni Park that will enhance the existing Alumni Memorial. The completed facilities will feature commemorative displays, class plaques, stained-glass elements, and dedicated gathering spaces that celebrate the rich history and legacy of the Army War College community.

With construction costs anticipated to exceed $15 million, the project is funded through donations and pledges managed by the Army War College Foundation. Murray Associates Architects is serving as the Architect and Project Manager, and Wohlsen Construction is serving as the General Contractor.

TPD is serving as a part-time Owner’s Representative during the approximately 15-month construction phase, acting as their “eyes and ears” providing oversight and coordination to help bring this significant campus enhancement to life. TPD’s services include attending progress meetings, observing construction activities, monitoring schedule and budget-related risks, reviewing pay applications and change order requests for informational purposes, maintaining an issues and risk log, summarizing key project discussions, and assisting with punch list and closeout documentation review.

Beyond the significance of the project itself, this assignment highlights TPD’s ability to provide value in roles that extend beyond traditional engineering and design services. TPD continues to broaden its service offerings and demonstrates its expertise in project management, stakeholder coordination, communication, and construction oversight, can support clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.
