TPD was responsible for the Construction Management and Construction Inspection services associated with this Federal-aid project for the Roundabout – Princeton Avenue (US 206Z) and Brunswick Circle Extension (CR 645). The general scope of work for this project involved improving safety and traffic operations while accommodating safer pedestrian and bicyclist movements. The project was funded through the Highway Safety Improvement Program and administered by the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Division of Local Aid. Project work included concrete curb, ADA sidewalk ramp improvements, street furniture, bicycle ramp facilities, new traffic signals, drainage improvements, decorative streetlights, bituminous asphalt roadway paving, signage and striping, landscaping, lighting improvements, relocation of water main and utility relocations.   

TPD’s responsibilities included:

  • Construction Management
  • Construction Inspection
  • Federal-aid/State Documentation
  • Primary Liaison between County & Contractor
  • Monitor & Manage Project Staff
  • Chair Pre-Construction, Bi-Weekly and Monthly Progress Meetings
  • Coordination for Maintenance and Protection of Traffic for Daytime and Night-time Operations
