TPD (formerly Atlantic Traffic and Design) was retained to prepare a Traffic Impact Analysis to examine the future traffic impacts of the Northwest Resiliency Park proposed in the City of Hoboken. The study evaluated potential traffic, pedestrian and bicycle impacts associated with the proposed 6-acre park. The subject site is located with frontage along northbound Adams Street, northbound Madison Street, eastbound 12th Street and westbound 13th Street in the City of Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey.
Under the development proposal, an existing pop-up park was removed, and the Northwest Resiliency Park was constructed. The project included athletic fields, play areas, event space, and picnic areas that was part of the Hoboken’s 2004 Master Plan and a key component for improved water management.
