TPD has established a reputation throughout the eastern United States as a leading specialist in Transportation Planning related to Retail and Residential development, having provided well over 3,000 studies for a vast array of clients. Our quality transportation impact studies, expert testimony, and graphics capabilities assist in obtaining timely approvals. We also provide trip generation studies, parking studies, and traffic modeling in association with the local, county, and state land development approval process for land uses such as retail, residential, and office developments.

REPRESENTATIVE PROJECTS

Ellis Preserve at Newtown Square, Newtown Township, Delaware County, PA: TPD was responsible for providing transportation planning and design services for this 210-acre master planning development. Upon construction of all phases of the project, the uses will include 465,000 s.f. of retail anchored by a 50,000 s.f. upscale grocery and movie theatre, 950,000 s.f. of existing office space with an additional 400,000 s.f. proposed, one full service hotel and one extended stay hotel, and over 400 residences.

Sora West, Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County, PA: TPD prepared a traffic impact study, TDM Plan, and HOP improvements to adjacent intersections for this redevelopment property. The developments include a hotel, parking garage, office buildings, retail and restaurant space, and a courtyard.

2400 South, Toll Brothers, City of Philadelphia, PA: TPD prepared a traffic impact and parking studies, as well as provided expert witness testimony for this redevelopment site. This site consists of a mix of residential units and ground floor retail that is currently under construction.

Belmont Commercial Development, Manheim Township, Lancaster County, PA: TPD served as Lead Transportation Engineering Consultant on the Belmont mixed-use development. The project involved development of the Hess Farm tracts, and construction consisted of a mixture of residential, commercial and retail uses. At full build-out, the Belmont Development is expected to consist of approximately 372,100 square feet of commercial space, 13 single family homes and 74 townhomes.

Barley Mill Plaza, Greenville, New Castle County, DE: TPD was selected to provide transportation planning and design services for this redevelopment project consisting of razing an approximately 550,000 square foot dilapidated office park and replacing it with a mixed-use complex which will include upscale residences, a grocer, retail shops, restaurants, office buildings and green space.

The Grove (College Square Shopping Center), Newark, New Castle County, DE: TPD was responsible for providing DelDOT coordination, including traffic analysis and Entrance Plans and Permit Plan preparation for this redevelopment of an existing shopping center into a pedestrian/bicycle friendly multi-use development.

Princeton Promenade, Montgomery, NJ: TPD (formerly Atlantic Traffic and Design) was responsible for providing traffic engineering services for this retail and residential development. Located on approximately 50 acres, Montgomery Promenade consists of approximately 350,000 square feet of retail space and includes 32 residential units.

Xchange at Secaucus Junction, Secaucus, NJ: TPD (formerly Atlantic Traffic and Design) was responsible for providing traffic engineering services and an extensive traffic impact analysis for a transit village that consists of approximately 2,000 residential units and 30,000 square feet of retail space.

Seymour Street Redevelopment Plan, Montclair, NJ: TPD (formerly Atlantic Traffic and Design) was responsible for providing traffic engineering services for the Seymour Street Redevelopment Plan which consists of mixed-use project. The development was ultimately approved for approximately 200 apartments, 40,000 square feet of retail /arts and entertainment apace, 35,000 square feet offices pace and 3 parking structures providing approximately 750 parking spaces.

Zeckendorf Development, Manhattan, NY*: TPD (formerly Atlantic Traffic and Design) was responsible for providing traffic engineering, traffic signal design, and permitting services for the redevelopment and reoccupation of an older shopping center that had been vacant for over a decade.

Post Road Plaza, Village of Pelham Manor, NY*: TPD (formerly Atlantic Traffic and Design) was responsible for providing traffic engineering services, traffic signal design, and permitting services for the redevelopment and reoccupation of an older shopping center that had been vacant for over a decade.

Criterion Group, LLC, Long Island, NY*: TPD (formerly Atlantic Traffic and Design) was responsible for the preparation of a traffic impact analysis to support the development of a 27 floor, 414 unit residential building with 14,250 square feet of ground floor retail and accessory parking garage.
