TPD (formerly Atlantic Traffic and Design) was the traffic engineer for the new Bayer East Coast Headquarters in Whippany, NJ which was a result of a consolidation of several Bayer New Jersey facilities. The project consisted of 850,000 square feet of office space on the northern campus of a former Alcatel-Lucent office and R&D complex.

Prior to the project, the main site driveway was located offset from an intersection of two County roadways, Whippany Road and Parsippany Road. Our firm prepared traffic analyses for eight study intersections along the county roadway system. Based on the traffic mitigation developed to address the project impacts, construction plans were prepared to realign the site driveway (Bayer Boulevard) with Parsippany Road.
