TPD’s Visual Design Services blend engineering with marketing. Using the latest photo manipulation, 3D design, reality rendering, and video software, we bring our designs to life, allowing our clients to visualize the completed projects in their neighborhoods.

Often, our project teams are working with the public that may not be able to easily translate two-dimensional black-and-white plans. Creating a realistic conceptual presentation adds color, shading, and dimension to our design so that every person who views the project has a realistic vision of the final product.

Reality Rendering

By taking the time to add color, patterns, and stylized text to a preexisting plan, TPD can make a design stand out and highlight the areas that our engineers find most critical. Whether it is an aerial-view plan, a typical cross section, or an isometric view that falls somewhere in between, we can highlight designs to make them pop.

3D Design

We live in a three-dimensional world, and the engineering industry is moving toward three-dimensional design; our engineering staff has been trained to think beyond the flat printed page. When a concept is drawn in CADD, a Visual Designer can quickly add design elements such as realistic vehicles, pedestrians, and landscaping to transform a simple wireframe presentation into a beautiful new version of the engineer’s vision.

Photographic Compostition

Drawing the solutions that we create at TPD into real-world locations helps our clients see the design in a realistic setting. Using photo-editing tools like Adobe Photoshop, and 3D design software, like OpenRoads Designer and SketchUp, our design team can place the concept for a project of any size into a more presentable and digestible format.

Fly/Drive Through Animation

TPD’s Visual Design Staff can create video animations that move through project limits, as well as demonstrate how vehicles and pedestrians will move through it. 3D design, video, and audio software are used to create an immersive experience. Please click the links below to view the example videos.
